Jacob Morgan and Emily Woo Zeller did a wonderful job with the narration. I really did enjoy the book and the happy ending was well-earned and delightful. I was starting to get upset, thinking he was a lost cause, but then Vivian would stand up for herself and he would understand what a spitfire she was. When he reminded himself that this marriage wasn't real, he chose to put up a wall and ignore her. Dante hung onto his bitterness a little too long, but he was so angry at his brother and Viv's father. They treated each other coolly, at first, but the insults and snarky comments didn't stop. To say this arrangement was unique is an understatement and it blew both hot and cold with very little in between. Her parents tell her that Dante is having dinner with them tonight and Vivian has no idea why, but she was quick to find out that she was soon to be married. So, Dante is being forced into this arranged marriage and feels helpless, something he's never felt before. He will do or say nothing as long as he agrees to marry Vivian. A problem arises when Vivian's father blackmails Dante's family regarding photos that were taken of his brother that would embarrass the family. She practices the more traditional role, but part of her wants to break away from pleasing and living for her parents.
